The 2025/2026 rates instalments due dates are:

Under Section 57 and 58 of the Local Government (Rating) Act 2002 Council prescribes a penalty of ten percent (10%) of the amount of rate instalments remaining unpaid after the due date to be added on the following dates:

Penalties will not be charged on a rating unit where Council has agreed to a programme for payment of rate arrears or where a direct debit programme is in place and payments are being honoured.
Volumetric metered water rates are invoiced separately from other rates. Invoices for the majority of users are issued six monthly and invoices for larger industrial users are issued monthly.

Payments received will be applied to the oldest outstanding amounts first.
