If you have recently removed a swimming pool from your property, you can complete this online application to record it as having been removed on the Tasman District Council Register.

Evidence of the pool removal must accompany this form, i.e. photos that provide verification of removal. Council reserves the right to make a site inspection prior to updating the register.

I, the property owner, declare that all information covered in this form has been completed correctly and that the pool has been safely removed and request that Council update the status on the Licence as 'Pool Removed' on the Pool Register. I understand that Council will be relying on this declaration as confirmation that the pool has been removed. I understand pool owner obligations and will notify the Council if I chose to re-instate a pool at a later date.

Section 369 Building Act 2004 Offence to make false or misleading statement 

(1) A person must not, in any communication, application, or document that is required to be made or given under this Act or by the regulations,—

(a) knowingly make a written or oral statement that is false or misleading in a material particular; or
(b) knowingly make a material omission. 

(2) A person who fails to comply with subsection (1)—

(a) commits an offence; and
(b) is liable on conviction,— 

(i) in the case of an individual, to a fine not exceeding $20,000,
(ii) in the case of a body corporate, to a fine not exceeding $60,000.
