Notice of Extension of Local Transition Period - Section 94D, Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002

I, Tim King, extend the local transition period over the area of Tasman District Council owing to the effects of the severe weather events in June 2025 and July 2025.

This extension of the transition period:

(a) Comes into force immediately before 4:47 PM on Thursday 14th August 2025, which is when the current transition period ends.
(b) Is in force for 28 days.
(c) Ends at 4:47 PM on Thursday 11th September 2025, unless terminated or further extended earlier.
